Responsibilities

The candidate will be expected to meet the high standards of Baylor in terms of both graduate and undergraduate education. The candidate will also be expected to maintain an independent and viable research program and to sustain this program via external funding.

Required Qualifications

Candidates will be evaluated based on (i) their potential and/or existing track record in developing an internationally-recognized, externally-funded research program, and (ii) their desire to excel as a teacher at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The ideal candidate will have experience with solving problems across traditional disciplines, especially those aligned with departmental research priorities of health, environment, and materials. Ph.D. required in hand at the time of appointment.
