The Assistant Director of Development is responsible for qualifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding donors and prospects for major and annual gifts in support of Baylor University and its respective colleges and units. Additionally, this position will primarily focus on development efforts on the East Coast of the United States.

Based upon the qualifications and experience of the candidate selected, this position may be filled at either the Assistant Director of the Director level. Baylor University reserves the right to make the final determination.

-Experience in sales or marketing/public relations.

-Extensive travel required; must have current drivers license and good driving record.
-Able and willing to work evenings and weekends as needed.
-Professional dress, appearance, and demeanor a must.
-Maturity; personal integrity.
-Ability to respect confidential information.
