The purpose of this position is to coordinate regional recruitment in key markets, establishing new relationships and networks throughout the US, and recruiting students to increase the number of out-of-state students at Baylor University.

NOTE: Anticipated hire date is Mid December- the end of the year

-Familiar with and enthusiastic about Baylor and be a self-starter who is highly motivate
-Strong social skills are required to meet people easily and adjust quickly to varying situations
-A valid driver’s license is required since candidate will have extensive travel within assigned territory
-Ability to work a substantial amount of nights and weekends as necessary.
-Able to reside in the assigned region, California, and be in close contact with the Waco based Admissions office.
-Work out of personal residence with ability to travel to Baylor campus for on-campus events and training is mandatory
-High energy level and be able to work under strict deadlines
-A team attitude, and a consistent commitment to a high standard of excellence are essential to this position

-Baylor degree preferred
-A proactive approach to developing recruitment initiatives, learn technical programs related to the job, and communication with supervisor when clarification is needed is important -Demonstrated ability to self-manage, be held accountable, and independently make decisions
-Implement programs thoroughly planned to impact enrollment goals
-Candidate should have a proactive approach to consistently communicate with prospective students, families, and school officials in assigned territory
-Extensive interaction with diverse populations and proven ability to understand and relate with needs of population
-Self-directed development of collaborations with Alumni and Parent’s Network for special initiatives and yield events
-Northern California residence is preferred
